subject : A school trip

 Dear David,

       I am so pleased to send you this e-mail.  I hope you are all well. I'd like to tell you about the school trip I went on last month. It was fun. I went to Alexandria with my classmates and under the supervision of three teachers. Alexandria is Egypt’s second-largest city and the biggest city on the Mediterranean. We arrived in Alex very early in the morning. We started our trip by going to the beach. The weather was so nice. We enjoyed the sun, the fresh clean and clear water and the beautiful scene there. After that, we visited Alexandria National Museum. We also visited Fort Qaitbey. Inside, we could explore the series of stone-walled chambers and climb up to the roof to look out over the Mediterranean. It was fun. Moreover, we visited Montazah Gardens. We couldn't leave without visiting Alexandria library. We enjoyed our trip very much. Bye for now.

           How are you ? I hope you are well. It gives me pleasure and to invite you to visit Egypt. You will spend a nice time in Egypt. You will visit the Giza pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the ancient temples of Luxor dating back thousands of years. You will enjoy visiting ancient places in Luxor and Aswan. You will like watching the Valley of Kings in Luxor. You will also enjoy the fresh water and fine weather of Alexandria. You will never feel bored in Egypt because there are a lot to do and watch in Egypt. I am sure you will like to visit Egypt again and again to enjoy its mild weather and great monuments.  I hope you will accept my invitation, Tom. It would be nice if you answered me soon.

Home assignment

Tourists from all over the world prefer spending their holidays in Egypt. We have different places of interest which tourists enjoy such as the pyramids, the sphinx, the egyptian museum and ancient temples and mosques. These tourist attractions encourage more and more  tourists to visit Egypt. This shows that tourism is an important source of national income for Egypt. We should encourage tourists to visit Egypt by building more modern hotels and good roads, and      providing fast transport.  We should welcome tourists in our country and behave towards them in a civilized manner. Finally, we can say that tourism is very vital to our economy and that no country can do without it.
